Responsibilities include:
  • Work collaboratively with Product Owner and the team to provide efficient design solution approach in Agility fashion
  • Estimate and plan JIRA stories
  • Perform hands on coding and code peer review to guarantee stability of applications, adhere to architecture standards, risk management, security policies, processes and procedures
  • Create full code test coverage using automated testing tools
  • Learn existing databases and data replication processes
  • Build / improve internal client relationships through proactive communication and face-to-face meetings
  • Provide SME level production support as required

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Working knowledge of AWS and Cloud development
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
  • Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Understanding of development concepts, SDLC methodologies, OOP concepts
  • Experience with Java/J2EE for implementing web technologies.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, SASS/LESS, JavaScript/Typescript, AJAX, JSON, jQuery
  • Working Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like Angular/React
  • Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate frameworks.
  • Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks like Jest, Junit, Jasmine, Puppeteer
  • Experience using version control like Git
  • Experience with build tools like NPM, Gulp, Webpack, Maven, Gradle
  • Agile development experience or equivalent in fast-paced development environment
  • Strong RDBMS understanding, Oracle/DB2
  • Experience with NO-Sql databases Cassandra/Hadoop
  • Comply with Risk policy and build/support application resiliency, monitoring and controls.
